Record drawings are out of date, and a point cloud isn't a model. We turn both into an accurate OpenBuildings model of what's really there.
Your engineers shouldn't spend their days modeling. We turn your design team's drawings into accurate OpenBuildings models, and the design stays yours.
Sheets late, out of step with the model or rejected for CAD standards? We cut plans, sections and elevations from the model, to your standard.
Don't rebuild the model at every handover. We carry it to LOD 400 for construction and LOD 500 for the owner's record.
A clash found on site costs far more than one found in the model. We find them early and follow each one through to resolution.
See sequencing and access problems before the crew does. We link your model to the construction schedule in Synchro.
One wrong setting can break every file on a project. We set up worksets, workspaces and standards so every user's files behave the same.
When everyone builds their own parts, models never match. We build the catalogs, shapes and cells your whole team models with.
BIM requirements are easy to miss until a submission comes back. We turn your client's BIM Execution Plan into a setup your team can follow.
Files lagging, prints coming out wrong, deadline close? Book a call and we'll fix it together, no contract.
Rather build the skill in-house? Live 1-on-1 and group training in OpenBuildings Designer, MicroStation and ProjectWise, built around your team's real workflow.
Scoped to your project, built to your standards.
Your software, discipline, client standards and deadline. Full specs or a rough goal both work.
We ask a few targeted questions, then send a custom proposal and quote.
Your workspace, CAD standard and BIM Execution Plan come first, before any modeling.
Reviews happen at the milestones you set, and questions come back to your team, not guesses.
Bentley files you can open, edit and build on, organized the way you asked.
We model and produce drawings from your design team's drawings, sketches and markups. When building the model shows a conflict or a gap, we flag it back to your team, and your engineers decide. The design, the engineering review and the seal stay with your Engineer or Architect of Record.
A point cloud shows where surfaces are, but not what they are. A model turns that scan into walls, columns, beams and slabs that carry real data like material, grade and weight, so your team can design on it, produce drawings from it and check it for clashes.
Accuracy and detail are two separate things, so we agree both in writing before we start: the level of development (LOD) and the accuracy against the scan. A model can only be as accurate as the scan behind it. Areas the scanner can't see, like structure above ceilings, come from record drawings, and we agree up front how those are handled.
Design-stage models are typically LOD 300: accurate size, shape and location. LOD 400 adds fabrication and installation detail from your trade contractors' shop drawings, and LOD 500 is the field-verified as-built record. We model to the level your BIM Execution Plan sets.
Structural and architectural, with structural as our core strength. Both are modeled natively in OpenBuildings Designer, with the attributes your project requires.
Yes. Every authority and firm has its own CAD standard, so we confirm yours at kickoff: seed files, levels, borders, naming and print setup. We work inside your ProjectWise environment, so your files stay in one place.
Linked views update when the model changes, but a clean sheet set still needs work: views set up, display rules, annotation and print setup to your standard, and a review of every affected sheet at each revision. A well-built model is what keeps this fast.
We can take on overflow when a package peaks, set up the workspace, standards and libraries your team models with, or train your team so they work faster on their own.
Every project is scoped first, then quoted. Tell us what you're working on, your software and your deadline, and we'll come back with a few questions and a custom proposal.
Yes. Book an on-call support session, and we'll work through it with you on the call.
Tell us what you're working on.
